We're looking for curious, self-driven people who want to combine fieldwork with quantitative methods, from biologging and computer vision to statistical modeling, to understand how wild animals sense, decide, and behave. We welcome applications from prospective PhD students interested in behavioral ecology, sensory ecology, movement, or sleep and vigilance in wild animals. Columbia's E3B program provides funded PhD positions through its graduate admissions process. Reach out before applying to discuss fit.
